Small files. Clear purposes.
Draft for owner and legal review before public launch. This page describes the proposed service; it is not a final legal document.
Keeping the service working
An agency login needs a session cookie so the service recognises the signed-in account. Your browser may also store a property shortlist or interface preferences on your device.
Clearing browser data can sign you out and remove locally saved choices. Device-based shortlists do not automatically follow you to another browser.
Measuring use
Budget Property measures visits itself, without a third-party tracker. bp_visitor holds a random visitor ID for up to 13 months, and bp_sid groups the pages of one visit for 30 minutes. bp_csrf protects forms for one day, and bp_session keeps a signed-in account signed in. The privacy policy explains what is recorded against the visitor ID and how long it is kept.
Any optional analytics or advertising cookies depend on the services actually enabled at launch, and load only if you accept them.
The final cookie notice must list those services, their purposes, lifetimes and available controls. Legacy tracking identifiers are not permission to activate new marketing tracking.
